About Us
The vineyard was planted in 1979 by the former owner of the property. In 2003 Nicola and Charlie Peak bought Kents Green House, and continue to nurture and harvest the grapes. They now live there with their three children.

Still White Wine £7 per bottle
Sparkling wine £12 per bottle (currently out of stock)

The Vineyard
The Vineyard sits in a south facing position in the small village of Kents Green, 8 miles west of the city of Gloucester. The area is well known for its vineyards due to its geographical position as a 'low rain corridor', surrounded by May Hill, the Malverns and the Black Mountains beyond.
There are over 400 vines at Kents Green Vineyard.
A large number are Muller Thurgau, with a mix of Riesling, Huxelrebe, Seyval Blanc, Pinot Noir and Bacchus.
We produce a still dry white wine and a small quantity of Sparkling Wine, which are both made from our grapes at the award winning Three Choirs Vineyard 4 miles away.
Vineyard Open Days
May 23rd 2009 was our first Vineyard Open Day, to mark the start of English Wine Week. The sunny day was a great success with old and new customers. In addition, we made £250 for Cancer Research from the sales of tea, cakes and plants. The 2010 Open Day was held later, in July. Once again the weather was kind and we enjoyed sharing the wine and vineyard for another day.

The children got involved by organising a stall selling bric a brac. A large crowd turned up to enjoy the sunshine, wine and garden, and we collected donations for Tibberton School.

The 3rd Open Day in September 2011 saw the grapes plump just before harvest. After a very wet morning the sun appeared and we raised money for the RNLI from the refreshments (home made cakes and freshly pressed Apple & Pear juice) and Ella's tombola.
